Dear Readers,
I would like to extend my best wishes for a New Year of good health for you, your families, and your patients, and to thank you for all that you do in promoting wellness in our ever-growing older population.
This is also an opportunity to send a message of gratitude to all of those who contribute to making the Journal an authoritative source for the latest peer-reviewed, evidence-based information on care of older persons: Dr. Barney Spivack, our Associate Physician Editor; our staff; our dedicated Editorial and Advisory Boards; our authors; our expert peer reviewers; and our readers who take the time to write thought-provoking letters, commentaries, and provide other insightful feedback.
We look forward in 2009 to a new year of opportunities for the Journal. Your input is valuable to us, so please fill out our readership survey (on page 44 in this issue) or send your comments to medwards@hmpcommunications.com. We look forward to continuing to make Clinical Geriatrics a premier publication for clinicians caring for the older patient.
Very sincerely,
Steven R. Gambert, MD, AGSF, MACP
